CONVENTION LOCATION & ACCOMMODATIONS
The
Governors House on Nipissing University
campus is the 2009 CVF/FCV convention venue. The University
with 20 kilometres of trails on-campus is overlooking Lake Nipissing. The
bus/train station and airport are only a 15 minutes drive from the campus.

throughout the City of North Bay and at
The Governors House which is among the most popular Nipissing
University halls of residence . It offers single rooms and shared bathrooms at
very low cost. Click

each room is a single room.
This is probably one of the most economical choices which also keeps you at the
centre of the convention activity.

Each participant is responsible for their own accommodation. A block of 200 rooms has been reserved at the Governors House. It is located within a five minute walk to the main university campus facilities.
The Governors House offers apartment style suites. Each suite consists of a common room with four single bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with tub/shower), a kitchen with gas stove and full size fridge (no utensils, dishes or cooking equipment is provided). Free parking is adjacent to the building. City buses have regular routes to the campus.
An accommodation price of $31.09 per person plus applicable taxes accurate as of April 2008 may be subject to price change. Breakfast and lunch are available at the campus cafeteria and must be booked at the same time as the room.
